Cactus Shadows is 7-1 against Saguaro since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Falcons will host the Sabercats at 6:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Cactus Shadows is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Arcadia just ended the team's six-match winning streak on Monday. They came up short against the Titans, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Falcons have suffered since November 7, 2024.

Cactus Shadows might have lost, but man, Gabby Procopio was a machine: she had 30 digs and two assists.

Meanwhile, Saguaro lost 3-0 to Mesquite on Monday.

The match came down to the wire multiple times:two sets needed extra rallies to declare a winner. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 27-25, 26-24.

Saguaro's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Cactus Shadows, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 12-3.

Cactus Shadows couldn't quite get it done against Saguaro in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Falcons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
