City Baptist School kept up with HomeSchool Resource Center until halftime on Tuesday, but afterwards: not so much. The Patriots put the hurt on the Overcomers with a sharp 6-1 victory. Considering HomeSchool Resource Center have won eight matches by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit City Baptist School with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Nolan Sutherland (2), Grayson Zarris (2), and Devin Davis (2).

The win was the fifth in a row for HomeSchool Resource Center, bringing their record up to 11-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 28 goals over those five games. As for City Baptist School, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, HomeSchool Resource Center will face off against Tournament Opponent at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for City Baptist School, they will take on Hammond Baptist in a tournament on Friday. Hammond Baptist have yet to allow a single goal through five contests this season, a streak City Baptist School will look to end.
