Baseball Recap: Tipton Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Tipton Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 12-1 to the Millington Central Trojans.

Tipton Christian Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Neylan Walker, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Tipton Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Millington Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-21 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tipton Christian Academy will square off against Central Baptist at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Millington Central, they will take on Fayette Ware at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Trojans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wildcats have averaged an impressive 8.8 runs per game this season.
