Soccer Game Preview: McFarland vs. Belleville

The McFarland Spartans are taking a road trip to square off against the Belleville Wildcats at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.

McFarland is likely headed into the contest with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Mount Horeb on Tuesday. The Spartans took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vikings. McFarland have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Meanwhile, Belleville waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let the Chiefs get on the board and left with a 3-0 win. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Belleville were the better team in the second half.

McFarland's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Belleville, their victory bumped their record up to 13-3-1.
