Softball Recap: Grand Street Campus Comes Up Short

After flying high against Francis Lewis on Friday, Grand Street Campus came back down to earth. The Wolves came up short against the Wagner Falcons on Monday, falling 11-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Wolves in their meetings with the Falcons: they've now lost three in a row.

Grand Street Campus' loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Wagner, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.

Grand Street Campus does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wagner, they will venture away from home to take on Bayside at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Commodores will roll in looking for their 14th straight win, something the Falcons surely won't give up without a fight.
