Football Recap: Wheeling Park Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Wheeling Park played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Steubenville Big Red and fell 38-7. The Patriots haven't had much luck with the Big Red recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Jay Bordas threw for 117 yards while completing 81.8% of his passes. Preston Heatherington was his top target, picking up 79 receiving yards. On the ground, Brennan Wack rushed for 73 yards and one TD.

Wheeling Park's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Steubenville, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-2.

Wheeling Park will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on John Marshall at 7:00 p.m. on November 7. Steubenville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
