Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Halifax). Everything went their way against the Upper Dauphin Area Trojans on Monday as the Halifax Wildcats made off with a 74-51 win. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 136th, while the Trojans are ranked 469th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

When it comes to explaining why Upper Dauphin Area lost, don't look at Ethan Groff. Despite the final result, he went 7 of 14 on his way to 20 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Aidan Bingaman, who posted 13 points.

Halifax is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.6 points per game. As for Upper Dauphin Area, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Halifax will head out to take on Millersburg at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Millersburg is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.9 points per game this season. As for Upper Dauphin Area, they will welcome Susquenita at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
