Soccer Recap: Castro Valley Comes Up Short

Castro Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Bishop O'Dowd Dragons. If the Trojans were looking for revenge after losing 4-0 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Castro Valley now has a losing record at 4-5-1. As for Bishop O'Dowd, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-3-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Castro Valley will face off against Piedmont at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bishop O'Dowd, they will venture away from home to take on Marin Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
