Softball Recap: Barren County Trojans vs. Glasgow Scotties

Barren County put the finishing touches on their 16th blowout victory of the season on Friday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Glasgow Scotties a 15-0 shutout. The win was familiar territory for Barren County who now have 11 in a row.

Shea Bogue looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive pitching appearances.

On the hitting side, Lizzie Smith was incredible, going 2-for-3 with a home run, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Katie Murphy, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.
