Basketball Recap: Lacrosse Falls Despite Big Games from Molly Showalter and Madison Morgan

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact LaCrosse can now relate to. They took a hard 50-36 fall against the Osborne Bulldogs on Saturday. The Leopards' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Despite the defeat, LaCrosse had strong showings from Madison Morgan, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and ten boards, and Molly Showalter, who posted ten points and three steals. Morgan's evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points.

LaCrosse's loss dropped their record down to 15-7. As for Osborne, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.

LaCrosse does not have any more games scheduled as of now. We've got a battle between Bulldogs coming up. Quinter will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Osborne surely won't give up without a fight.
