Basketball Recap: Azle Comes Up Short

Azle saw some tournament action on Thursday. They took a blow against the Rock Hill Blue Hawks, falling 50-22. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 863rd, while the Blue Hawks are ranked 191st).

Azle has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 11 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season. As for Rock Hill, their record is now 11-7.

Azle will challenge Granbury at 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday. Rock Hill has already played their next game, a 46-37 victory against Rudder on the 26th.
