Soccer Recap: Quitman Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Quitman can now relate to. They came up short against the Bay Tigers on Saturday, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi soccer rankings (they are ranked 109th, while the Tigers are ranked 32nd).

Quitman has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. As for Bay, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-6-3.

Quitman does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Bay has already played their next contest (against Purvis), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
