Griswold can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Ledyard Colonels 9-8. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-4 back in April.

Griswold's victory bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Ledyard, they dropped their record down to 6-11 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Griswold will head out to take on Lyman Memorial at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ledyard, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Stonington at 3:45 p.m. The Bears will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Colonels surely won't give up without a fight.
