Volleyball Recap: Brooks Finds Home Court Redemption Against Victoria Soto

There's no place like home for Brooks, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They came out on top against the Victoria Soto Wolves by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. The Eagles were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Wolves, so the Eagles were just returning the favor.

Brooks not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Victoria Soto between 16 and 18 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-18.

With the win, Brooks broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-3. As for Victoria Soto, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-9-1.

Brooks has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Curie on the 1st. As for Victoria Soto, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Kennedy on the 1st.
