Sterling skates past Wisdom with ease

The Sterling Raiders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 20 points or more this season. They blew past Wisdom 90-27 on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Sterling has managed all season.

Sterling's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Xzavier Edmonson, who scored 14 points along with five assists and five rebounds. Those five assists set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Isiah McCreary, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and four steals.

The win makes it two in a row for Sterling and bumps their season record up to 11-6. As for Wisdom, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Sterling will be playing at home against Madison at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Madison's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last nine contests. As for Wisdom, they will head out on the road to face off against Galena Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
