Basketball Recap: Gilchrist Takes a Loss

Gilchrist was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Crosspoint Christian Warriors. The game marked the first time this season in which the Grizzlies were not able to get on the board.

Gilchrist's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Crosspoint Christian, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-3.

Gilchrist will challenge Prospect at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Crosspoint Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
