Soccer Recap: Jefferson Takes a Loss

Jefferson managed to keep up with Columbus Grove until halftime on Monday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Wildcats lost 3-0 to the Bulldogs. Jefferson have struggled against Columbus Grove recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Columbus Grove, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-1-1.

Looking ahead, Jefferson will take on Ada at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ada will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Jefferson surely won't give up without a fight. As for Columbus Grove, they will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Botkins at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
