Volleyball Recap: Tanque Verde's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak at Home

Tanque Verde saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Orange Lutheran Lancers.

Tanque Verde's offense was headlined by Megan Hadley and Payton Balsiger, who picked up two kills apiece. They got some help from Lauren Rietz and her three assists.

Tanque Verde's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-9. As for Orange Lutheran, they pushed their record up to 23-3 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road.

Tanque Verde wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Canyon del Oro on the 20th. As for Orange Lutheran, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Salpointe Catholic on the 20th.
