Baseball Recap: Greater Lawrence Tech Finds Home Field Redemption Against Lynn Vo-Tech

There's no place like home for Greater Lawrence Tech, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They came out on top against the Lynn Vo-Tech Tigers by a score of 7-4 on Monday. That's more bragging rights for the Reggies, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Randy Fernandez made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched 4.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (five). He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

In other batting news, Andy Segura was excellent, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and one run. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Josue Reyes, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Greater Lawrence Tech's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-10.
