Softball Preview: Monmouth Academy Mustangs vs. Oak Hill Raiders

The Monmouth Academy Mustangs will venture away from home to challenge the Oak Hill Raiders at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Monmouth Academy will come into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.

On Wednesday, Monmouth Academy made easy work of Maine Central Institute and carried off a 7-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won five games by six runs or more so far this season.

Shannah Parsons made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up a single earned run any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
