Chesnee came tearing into Thursday's contest with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Liberty Red Devils with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Chesnee took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-15, 25-8.

Payden Pitman paced Chesnee's offense, picking up 11 kills. Pitman got some help from Abbie Olson and her 14 assists. Maggie Foy controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Chesnee's victory bumped their record up to 20-4-1. As for Liberty, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-14.

Chesnee has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Chesterfield on the 22nd. Liberty has also already played their next matchup (against Mid-Carolina), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
