Basketball Recap: Front Range Baptist Takes a Loss

Front Range Baptist was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 56-15 loss at the hands of the Briggsdale Falcons. Front Range Baptist was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-4.

Karis Boggs was Front Range Baptist's leading scorer, having posted five points. Hadyn Woods took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with five assists.

It was another big night for Kayl Klem, who went 7 of 8 en route to 14 points and six steals for Briggsdale. Klem has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Bailey Loyd, who posted seven points and four steals.

Front Range Baptist's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Briggsdale, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Front Range Baptist will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lyons at 5:00 p.m. on January 14, 2025. Briggsdale will take on Idalia in a holiday battle at at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
