Softball Preview: Bethlehem Wildcats vs. Holmes County Blue Devils

Bethlehem hasn't had much luck against Holmes County recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Wildcats will challenge the Blue Devils at 4:30 p.m. Bethlehem is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.6 runs per game this season.

Mackenzie Saporito spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on four hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Abigale Brannon, who got on base in two of her five plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Peyton Carrol also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.
