After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mount Vernon, The Mount Pisgah Christian Patriots were happy to have found some success on Friday. They came out on top against St. Francis by a score of 24-15. For Mount Pisgah Christian, this counts as revenge for the 35-18 loss St. Francis walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2022.
Ian White threw for 165 yards and a touchdown. Geno Houchins was his top target, picking up 72 receiving yards.
Mount Pisgah Christian's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for St. Francis, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mount Pisgah Christian will take on Whitefield Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Francis, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mount Vernon at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Mount Vernon has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 175 points over their last four contests.
