Austin lost to Kasson-Mantorville back in April of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Packers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 10-9 win over the Komets. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Packers.

Charlee Cunningham was incredible, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Jenna Hetzel, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Austin's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Kasson-Mantorville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.

Austin will be playing at home against John Marshall at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Kasson-Mantorville, they will face off against Lake City at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
