Football Recap: Overton Takes a Loss

Overton fell victim to Bartlett and their airtight defense on Friday. They were outmatched by the Panthers and fell 35-0. The Wolverines have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Jaibriel Bowers had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 154 yards and four TDs while picking up 9.6 yards per carry for Bartlett. Another player making a difference was Patrick Sadler, who threw for 198 yards and four touchdowns.

Overton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Bartlett, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Overton didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 33-0 victory against Manassas on the 19th. As for Bartlett, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 17-14 win against Houston on the 19th.
