Recap: Caldwell Bluejays vs. Sedan Devils
The Caldwell Bluejays's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. The matchup between Caldwell and Sedan wasn't particularly close, with Caldwell falling 66-48. Caldwell has struggled against Sedan recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Caldwell lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jackson Risley, who scored 20 points along with five rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Miles Newell, who scored ten points along with six rebounds.
Caldwell bumped their record down to 3-6 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Sedan, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-2.
Caldwell on the road again on Friday and play against South Haven at 7:00 p.m. on January 19th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Kansas (South Haven is ranked 263rd, while Caldwell is ranked 238th). As for Sedan, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Flinthills at 7:30 p.m.
