Football Game Preview: Harlan Green Dragons vs. Middlesboro Yellowjackets

Harlan hasn't had much luck against Middlesboro recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Green Dragons will head out to challenge the Yellowjackets at 7:00 p.m. Harlan has given up an average of 41.3 points per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Harlan's offense might be in the hot seat on Thursday considering what happened against East Ridge on Friday. They were dealt a 43-0 defeat at the hands of the Warriors.

Meanwhile, Middlesboro put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 34-27 win over Sayre. Middlesboro's victory was all the more impressive since the Spartans were averaging only 12.1 points allowed on the season.

Middlesboro's win bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Harlan, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.

Harlan took a serious blow against Middlesboro when the teams last played back in October, falling 58-0. Can the Green Dragons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
