Baseball Recap: St. John Paul II Comes Up Short

After flying high against Section last Saturday, St. John Paul II came back down to earth. St. John Paul II fell just short of the Westminster Christian Academy Wildcats by a score of 7-6 on Tuesday. The Falcons haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Parker Wilson was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring three runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in hits (two). Another player making a difference was Mark Andrezjewski, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

St. John Paul II's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Westminster Christian Academy, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-11.
