Softball Recap: Grayling's Winning Streak Snapped at 11 Games

It was a good run, but Grayling unfortunately witnessed the end of their 11-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Boyne City Ramblers by a score of 2-1. The game marked the Vikings' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Grayling saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jillian Hartman, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

The loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 12-2. As for Boyne City, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3.

Coming up, Grayling will take on Tawas Area at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Boyne City, they will head out to face off against Plymouth Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
