Football Recap: Sealy Tigers vs. La Grange Leopards
On Friday, the Sealy Tigers beat the La Grange Leopards 48-38. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 165th, while the Leopards are ranked 395th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Kane Killough continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 234 yards and three touchdowns while completing 78.6% of his passes, and also rushing for 82 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries. Another player making a difference was Noah Washington, who picked up 118 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Sealy was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 278 rushing yards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their rushing yard total in three consecutive games.

Davon Giscome was another key player, rushing for 124 yards and a touchdown.
Sealy's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-3. As for La Grange, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.
Sealy has already played their next match, a 63-34 win against Robinson on the 15th. As for La Grange, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 56-2 loss against La Vega on the 15th.
