After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Thayer, Liberty was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by an 18-3 margin over the Winona Wildcats. The high-scoring effort was just what the Eagles needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

The team relied heavily on Ashlynn Henry, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Sky Daniels was another key player, going 2-for-3 with four RBI and one run.

Liberty was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Winona only posted a batting average of .200.

The win got Liberty back to even at 2-2. As for Winona, they dropped their record down to 0-3 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Liberty wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 12-7 loss against Houston on the 29th. As for Winona, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 13-1 defeat against Alton on the 28th.
