Southwick Regional made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Sabis International, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Rams put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 12-1 win on Friday. With that victory, the Rams brought their scoring average up to 7.5 runs per game.

Sabis International's batters probably weren't too happy with Anna Novak, who pitched a no hitter and racked up ten Ks (she gave up three walks).

On the hitting side, Ava Lightcap was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-2. Those hits were her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Catherine Giroux, who scored a run while going 3-for-3.

Southwick Regional always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .568. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive matchups.

The win got Southwick Regional back to even at 2-2.
