Basketball Recap: Nine Straight Home Wins for Logan

Logan had won eight straight home games dating back to last season and Desta Rose did her part to make it nine on Saturday. The Logan Longhorns came out on top against the Des Moines Demons by a score of 58-46 thanks in part to Rose, who posted 25 points and eight rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Logan's points.

Several Demons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Rylan Brown, who had 14 points. Jadyn Atwater was another key player, putting up five points and 19 rebounds.

Logan now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Des Moines, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Logan will take on Dora at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Des Moines, they will welcome Raton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Des Moines is facing Raton at the right time seeing as Raton is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
