Football Recap: Bloomer Comes Up Short

Bloomer fell victim to Regis and their airtight defense on Thursday. They were outmatched by the Ramblers and fell 49-0. The Blackhawks haven't had much luck with the Ramblers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Bloomer's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Regis, their win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Bloomer and Regis will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Blackhawks will square off against rival Cumberland at 7:00 p.m. on September 5. Meanwhile, Regis is set to challenge their familiar foe Osseo-Fairchild at 11:00 a.m. on September 6.
