Soccer Game Preview: Juneau-Douglas vs. Houston

The Juneau-Douglas Crimson Bears are taking a road trip to challenge the Houston Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Juneau-Douglas will come into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.

Juneau-Douglas barely beat West Valley the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Crimson Bears blew past the Wolf Pack 4-1 on Saturday. The result was nothing new for Juneau-Douglas, who have now won three contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Houston has been struggling as of late, and they have yet to win a game this season. Neither they nor Grace Christian could gain the upper hand on Saturday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Juneau-Douglas' win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-0. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those four games. Houston's draw makes their record 0-4-2 this season.
