Softball Recap: University Liggett Comes Up Short

University Liggett lost against Central Catholic back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Knights lost 10-2 to the Fighting Irish. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jasmine Maxwell was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

University Liggett's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Central Catholic, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

While University Liggett had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
