Skyridge saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Abbie Ellis, who scored a run while going 1-for-1. The team also got some help courtesy of Peyton Hall, who went 2-for-2 with a double and an RBI.
Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous four contests, Weber brought some dynamite into their most recent matchup. They had just enough and edged Bonneville out 10-8. Weber's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Kendall Strasburg made a splash while hitting and pitching. She tossed 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Strasburg was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4.
In other batting news, Weber let Olivia Boswelll and Logyn Howell loose on the outfield. Boswelll scored two runs while going 3-for-4, while Howell scored a run while going 2-for-3.
Skyridge's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 0-5. As for Weber, their win bumped their record up to 2-5.
