Volleyball Recap: Hamilton's Luck Changes for the Better on Monday

Hamilton had lost five straight, but after bumping their record up to 4-8 on Monday that streak is in the rearview. They put the hurt on the Western Brown Broncos with a sharp 3-0 win. The Big Blue have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Broncos, too.

As for Western Brown, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss they have suffered since September 9th.

Western Brown's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Leah Delaney, who had nine digs and three aces. Another player making a difference was Morgan Heming, who had seven digs and one assist.

Looking ahead, Hamilton will head out to challenge Cincinnati Christian at 6:30 p.m. on the 7th. As for Western Brown, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Clinton-Massie on the 30th.
