Softball Recap: Ider Takes a Loss

Ider managed to slip by Etowah the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Hornets came up short against the Blue Devils on Friday, falling 9-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Hornets have suffered since March 27th.

Ider's loss dropped their record down to 19-8. As for Etowah, they pushed their record up to 24-13 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Ider wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 11-0 victory against Pleasant Valley on the 25th. As for Etowah, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-2 defeat against Springville on the 24th.
