Basketball Recap: Lake Braddock Wins Going Away Against South County

Lake Braddock hadn't done well against South County recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Lake Braddock Bruins were the clear victor by a 57-34 margin over the South County Stallions. This was a revenge game for the Bruins: when they faced off against the Stallions back in December of 2024, they had to take a 53-44 defeat.

Lake Braddock is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.8 points per game. As for South County, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lake Braddock will square off against West Springfield at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. South County has already played their next matchup (against Fairfax), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
