Basketball Game Preview: Sinton Pirates vs. Ingleside Mustangs

The Sinton Pirates are taking a road trip to square off against the Ingleside Mustangs at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Sinton is coming into the game hot, having won their last nine games.

Sinton will bounce into Tuesday's matchup after beating Jones, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Pirates walked away with a 47-34 win over the Trojans on Friday.

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Ingleside and Calhoun, and Calhoun kept the tradition alive. The Mustangs fell 36-31 to the Sandcrabs on Friday.

Ingleside has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-14 record this season. As for Sinton, their victory bumped their record up to 25-5.

Sinton strolled past Ingleside when the teams last played back in January by a score of 53-34. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pirates since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
