Recap: El Camino Wildcats vs. Mission Hills Grizzlies
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the El Camino Wildcats, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They fell to the Grizzlies 24-19. El Camino lost against Mission Hills in their previous head to head back in October, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 21-7 score last time.
Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Devin Cerda, who rushed for 140 yards.
El Camino has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-5 record this season. As for Mission Hills, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-3-1.
El Camino does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Mission Hills will square off against St. Augustine at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Augustine is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games.
