Basketball Recap: Arkport Central/Canaseraga Piles Up the Points Against Hammondsport

Arkport Central/Canaseraga won the last time they faced Hammondsport and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Arkport Central/Canaseraga Wolves blew past the Hammondsport Lakers, posting a 77-23 win. That looming 77-23 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Wolves yet this season.

Arkport Central/Canaseraga found their leader in sophomore Caden Carey, who posted 20 points and five steals. Carey's evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Vilkhu, who put up 12 points and five steals.

Arkport Central/Canaseraga's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Hammondsport, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Arkport Central/Canaseraga does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hammondsport, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Campbell-Savona at 7:00 p.m. on December 27th.
