Basketball Recap: North Branch Comes Up Short

North Branch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against the Zimmerman Thunder, falling 76-25. The match marked the Vikings' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

North Branch's defeat dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Zimmerman, their victory bumped their record up to 16-8.

Coming up, North Branch will venture away from home to square off against Princeton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Princeton knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully North Branch likes a good challenge. As for Zimmerman, they will take on Chisago Lakes Area at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Zimmerman's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 15 contests.
