Volleyball Recap: Maricopa Comes Up Short

After flying high against Vista Grande on Thursday, Maricopa came back down to earth. The Rams fell just short of the Arvada West Wildcats by a score of 2-1 on Friday.

Maricopa's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Arvada West, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-1.

Looking ahead, Maricopa will square off against Canyon del Oro at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Arvada West, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Liberty on the 26th.
