Grimsley and Marvin Ridge squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Grimsley had to settle for second. They fell 59-50 to the Marvin Ridge Mavericks. Despite the defeat, Grimsley had strong showings from Shyla Simms, who shot 50% from the field on her way to 23 points in addition to eight boards and six assists, and Alyssa Graves, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and ten rebounds. Simms is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 11 games she's played.
