The Lakeland Christian Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 21 points or more this season. They took their game on the road on Friday with ease, bagging a 51-8 victory over Oasis Christian. That looming 51-8 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Lakeland Christian yet this season.

Lakeland Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kiya Boyce, who scored six points along with 11 steals and six rebounds. Those 11 steals set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Issa Simpson, who scored 11 points along with eight steals.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Oasis Christian struggled to work together and finished the game with only an assist. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Lakeland Christian racked up 15 assists.

Lakeland Christian's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Oasis Christian, they bumped their record down to 3-11 with that loss, which was their third straight at home.

Lakeland Christian will take on Victory Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Victory Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Friday. As for Oasis Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Discovery at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Discovery has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 20.
