Future Wildcat averaged 22.1 points, 13.7 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 2.9 blocked shots per game during a dominant junior campaign.

California high school basketball star Carter Bryant is on the move again. Regarded as one of the top prospects in the Class of 2024 by 247Sports, the 6-foot-8 wing is currently attending classes at Centennial (Corona) per Frank Burlison.
Bryant earned MaxPreps Junior All-America honorable mention after averaging 22.1 points, 13.7 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 2.9 blocked shots per contest to guide Sage Hill (Newport Beach, Calif.) to the Division IV state tournament.

Pegged as the No. 4 overall prospect in the rising senior class by 247Sports, Bryant is a monster addition for Centennial. The Huskies finished the 2022-23 season ranked No. 11 in the final MaxPreps Top 25 but fell shy of winning their second straight CIF Open Division title, losing to eventual champ Harvard-Westlake (Studio City) in the state semifinals.

Following back-to-back finishes in the national rankings, Centennial is losing four starters to graduation. Duke signee Jared McCain, UCLA signee Devin Williams, Loyola Marymount signee Aaron McBride and uncommitted guard Mike Price will move on to the next level in 2023-24.

Eric Freeny is the top returner for Centennial while Justice Griffith and Santana Huff are among those expected to see increased roles.

Centennial has emerged as a state and national power under 2021-22 MaxPreps National Coach of the Year Josh Giles, compiling a 138-18 record over the past five seasons.
