Basketball Game Preview: Klein Forest Eagles vs. Magnolia West Mustangs

The Klein Forest Eagles are taking a road trip to take on the Magnolia West Mustangs at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Klein Forest is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 69-39, which was the final score in Klein Forest's tilt against Tomball on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 641st, while the Cougars are ranked 103rd).

Meanwhile, Magnolia West ended up a good deal behind Ponder on Saturday and lost 58-43. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Klein Forest's defeat dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Magnolia West, their loss dropped their record down to 3-16.

Klein Forest strolled past Magnolia West in their previous matchup back in November of 2024 by a score of 52-34. The rematch might be a little tougher for Klein Forest since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
